This is an expensive boat cover that is tailor made for my Targa 16. I 'm sorry to say that after two years of use the cover has many holes and alot of the tie down straps have broken off.

I purchased a boat cover for my 93 Tracker Magna 2 years ago and it is falling apart already, it is not a custom fit because they do not make them for my boat any more, very dissatisfied with the product, I believe it had a six year warranty.

I purchased this cover when I bought my Pro 175 in 2000. It has been steadly wearing out and now I need a new one. I have to use a waterproof tarp under it. But, 7 years ain't bad, and 150 bucks not alot when you look at the top of the line. True, I have to strap around the axle, true, it is faded, true it leaks, but what's the fuss? It's been good to me. Buy it again? Nope! I'm movin up, cause ya get what ya pay for, and I wanna keep my re-sale value on this sought after boat model. All I can say to everyone..."Welcome to Boating!"

To bejhonest the cover i bought was a waist of money. Before the three years were up i had two tears, and one strap had torn off. The straps were placed in the wrong places and there were not enough straps to keep the cover from sagging and catching rain making drainging water from the cover a must each time it has rained. If i had lived close enough to a store it would have been returned for a refund, but since i live so far from a dealer i wkll have to suffer the consequences of a bad choice and a poorly made product. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS.

a company called Dowco has a terrific custom fit cover. It's not listed in the BPS catalogue but you can order one from the store closest you in the Marine Dept.Provide the clerk with the year, make and model of the boat. I also was asked to provide the hull ID #. My cover cost about $330 and is the strongest, and heaviest one I have ever seen.

Given that there is a size listed for my 2005 Tracker Pro Team 175, and all of those boats have a bow mount trolling motor, does this 'exact fit' fit over the trolling motor and if so is it reinforced in that area?Answers

My Dowco boat cover, ordered thru the BPS marine dept ( in a store ) fits the boat perfectly from bow to stern. It does tend to sag in the bow around where thetrolling motor is. When it rains, water tends to pool up there. I corrected the problem by inserting a pole seat into the bow seat holder. THe cover doesn't get stretched beyond its capabilities and no water pools up. The Dowco cover by the way is the best on the market. Hope this info helps.

I reviewed a Dowco custom cover that needed to be purchased via a BPS marine service dept. I provided the store with the boat hull ID number. THe Dowco is awesome. VEry heavy cover and lots of tiedowns. THe covers listed in the BPS catalog are all junk. Dowco claims to custom fit a cover for any boat.I have a 17 ft, Tracker and the cover cost me $330. which is a great investment to protect a $15000 boat.

I ordered and received a "exact fit" cover for my Bass Tracker Pro 16. After installing the cover, I noticed that it only had 4 loops for tie down on each side. the photos for the product shows 7 tie downs per side. i also received some 12 foot straps(4 each), which appears to be for straping completely around the boat and cover. the instructions are hazy. I expected this to be a transportable type cover. tell me what I got...l Richard....Answers
