Rated 4 out of 5 by mojoone great bait! I've used this bait in electric chicken pattern for a couple of years and it slays the trout and redfish. Work it slow. May 14, 2013

Details:I'd like to know the best way to rig it to get the most action also the color that has worked for you for redfish & sea trout and also how you fish it for maximum performance...
A:Salt and pepper five inch- I rig this with 3/0 weighted hook with the wire screw in/push pin attachments and also with 1/4 oz. flathead red painted jig heads- I fish this trolling from my Outback kayak at about 1.8 mph and enough line out to just occasional brush the bottom and/or casting with steady retrieve just barely off the bottom- the strikes are hard and the fish usually hook themselves-

A:I use the Bass Magic 1/8oz. 3/0 belly weighted hook. I fish them like a swimbait.
The best colors I've found are the morning glory/ lime tail and the pumpkin seed/ chartreuse tail.
Morning glory for reds and marsh bass.
Pumpkinseed for specks and marsh bass.
This can be fished in grass beds. Steady retrieve with an occasional twitch or two especially if the bait feels heavy or the vibration of the bait changes.
Details:Which color is best for striped bass?
A:White, Pearl White. ALWAYS for the striper.
