I have caught a lot of bass with this over the years, especially in the spring. Most are 3/4 to 2 pounds but I did catch a 5 pounder the day after Thanksgiving about 5 years ago. I always make sure I have some in my box.

Like I said, this bait will catch all types of fish. Get's slow fishin' in the hot summer heat. I put this on a small jig head & catch Bluegill, Crappie, Bass & even catfish at times.... always some action, while others just cast & cast. I CATCH.......

I would like to see a 6 inch version of this. Not really what i was expecting but i guess i should have read that its only so many inches long.
