Don't pass this one up if you are looking to get the most for your money. It is everything the previous reviews stated. This will be the one I use until I die. The government can have my guns. I like this crossbow that much. I purchased the package along with extra bolts, quiver, and broad heads for less than full packages of other brand names and believe I have the best at the best price.

I purchased the cross bow for my husband for his Christmas present and he couldn't wait 5 seconds to shoot it, my sons and their father put it together in about a half hour and they went straight to the archery range he has in our basement and sighted it in. They came up about a half our later with the cross bow sighted in and my husband was surprised at how accurate it is, he said he has never owned something that shoots arrows like this and he is going to take it on his bear hunt this may in Canada.

I just got finished shooting my new Vengeance and I must say, This is one high quality hunting weapon, I fired around 50 bolts and had no problem consistently getting 3 inch or less groupings at 30yds FREEHAND. I used the same cross-hair at 30yds that I used at 10yds with little to no drop whatsoever. I'm convinced that shooting from a rest would be very hard on bolts if you aim the same spot twice. The craftsmanship on this bow is second to none, It is superbly balanced, not nose heavy like convential Xbows,,Very easy to hold on target for a extended period of time.It is also unbelievably quiet just a mild "thump" The scope that comes with it is high quality also, it has either red or green iluminated reticles with adjustable brightness. This bow is #140lbs Draw weight NOT #160lbs as stated above with #126lbs kinetic energy and is VERY modestly rated at 365fps.The ONLY bad thing is that they do not have a crank cocker for it yet! I called Barnett and they said it would be out soon.

Where do I start...This bow is AWSOME! The balance of this bow is perfect. It shoulders great and points like a gun, no front-heavy feeling like conventional crossbows. Design is well thought-out. Improvements have been made on the foot stirrup and the string dampers, very sturdy. Plan to spend about 30 minute assembling the bow. The quiver is nice and compact and the mount is a rare-earth magnet so removal is noiseless. The multi-position foregrip is very comfortable even in the fully down position. The foregrip detent does make an audible 'click' if you don't use it carefully. This bow is super fast and only took 3 shots to sight-in. Groups really well. I have been shooting a Barnett Revolution AVI for the past two years and this eclipses it! The Vengeance is much quieter than the Revolution and the trigger is much lighter and crisp to pull. The rope cocker took a couple of shots for me to get the hang of since it has a crossbar between the hooks. Buy one, you won't be disappointed!!
