The Barnett Raptor FX™ Crossbow Package is compact and lightweight, with custom composite laminated limbs and a high energy cam system. The patented Anti Dry Fire Trigger has a spring loaded redundant safety bar that remains in place until the arrow is seated properly, which finally allows the user to switch the safety off and shoot the bow. AVI (Anti Vibration Isolation) patented high compression over molded limbs and/or components. This reduces noise and vibration by up to 30%. AVI also helps prevent inadvertent nicks and scratches, and provides a protective barrier. The lightweight composite stock has a pass-through foregrip with finger reminders.

Great weapon Purchased this crossbow and upgraded the scope on day of purchase, took 10 arrows to sight in at 40 yards and basically robin hooded 3 arrows. Field tested following day and shot a doe and she went down immediately. Arrow left the bow with enough force and speed that it had an amazing pass though. Two days later an 8 point buck came into view through my shooting lane at about 40 yards and the arrow did a complete pass through and landed 15 feet behind him and he only went 20 yards. This is the best weapon ever and I am very glad to have Purchased it and I am also thinking about getting another one for my girlfriend to shoot so she can bow hunt with me! Thank you Barnett! Nice Addition to My Deer Slaying Arsenal! Just got this crossbow today, and was hitting a quarter size bullseye at 20 yards in less than 30 minutes of shooting. Mine has the Barnett reddot with crossbow dots which I have set at 20 yards for the 1st dot, and the other 2 dots move me out to 30 & 40 yard with no guess work. I wouldn't have a problem shooting even further if the situation arose for me. I love the compact design as it makes it a more versatile weapon in my different hunting environments. I have a friend that has the Barnett BCX, & this one shoots just as well as it does, and is much more compact and lighter. Happy with my choice of the Raptor FX!! October 21, 2014
awesome crossbow got this crossbow in 2013 just in time for the last week of archery season. with a quick sight in session was peggin bulls at 25 pretty quick. took it out hunting got my first doe with it at 27 yards. been fine tuneing since am hitting bulls 2 inch groups at 50 yards 3inch groups at 60 great bow cant wait for this season.only down fall could use a little better scope but that's easy to remedy. best crossbow I ever owned! I just recently sold my buck commander crossbow today and bought this one. I'm glad I did. This is one of the lightest crossbows I have ever handled. It is also one of the most compact. If you think this crossbow is compact as it sits, just wait until you cock it back. It will amaze you how it can even be a crossbow at such a slim width. I managed to shoot it today and that was a dream. I was hitting bulls at 30 yards right when I got it home. No problems at all whatsoever. The adjustable buttstock is also a HUGE advantage. This crossbow has taught me that spending more money is not always the answer for better quality. June 8, 2014

With the cocking device, it's like pulling a 75 lb. weight in each hand. It's actually a bit easier than it sounds. There are also mechanical cocking devices on the market that makes it simple.

100 gr. works perfectly. Anything more than this will cause the point to drop too quickly and could damage the Bow. Some of the pricier crossbows need 125 gr. but that usually means a weightier draw. The Raptor FX gives you the best bang for the buck and has great ratings.

I use 100 grain, shoot real flat, but wouldn't be afraid to step up and try 125 grain because of the ft pounds that this crossbow is producing. Hope this helps

Barnett crossbows produced in 2010 offer a 5 year limited warranty with exception to the RC150 and Panzer V, which offer a 1 year limited warranty. The warranty covers manufacturer's defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty excludes the normal wear and tear on the cables and strings, dry firing, and misuse.
