Got this cross bow for Christmas for shooting feral hogs. Sighted in with just four bolts. Hogs came up again last night and with one bolt at 40 yards was able to bring down a 200 pound boar. Great cross bow!

Recently purchased this product, and was highly pleased with its quality and performance. This is the first crossbow I have owned, it is incredibly easy to use. Shoots remarkebly straight, fast and consistently accurate. Also highly impressed with the trigger very smoooth no creep, or jerk at all. Kit comes with everything you need. Would absolutely buy it again for the price.
Now the bad the but pads fall off, but I like it better with them off anyway. Also scope it average at best very inconsistent, I upgraded to a Nikon and love it. Scope mounts broke from the shock of the weapon which is impressive. Also it is rather heavy if you are gonna be stalking/hiking with it. Lastly rides kind of wierd on your back with a sling. If you hang the bow with front pointing up it hangs far back off your shoulder and kind of beats you up, and the quiver if all over like that. If you hang it upside down with front twards the ground gets you in back of legs. I take quiver off and wear it barrel upright. Truely love the product, just want others to be aware.

My wife purchased this bow for me Oct.2010, and I have killed 2 deer with it. I have shot the crossbow maybe 50 shots,I have waxed the string and keep all bolts tight. Two of the strands on the cable (not the string) have frayed and broken. While sitting in my stand, I heard a loud pop, and after inspecting the crossbow, I see that one 2 of the limps are cracked. I am currently in discussion with Barnett about warranting the limbs. With a $400.00 price tag, this item should last more than 50 shots through it. Don't get me wrong, I love the speed and accuracy. Just a little dissapointed in the craftsmanship. Came with a 5 reticle scope, and it shoots so high fully adjusted that I have to use the third sight line at 10-20 yards, fourth sight line at 30-40 yards. I am curious at some of the other reviews that say theirs shoot low,

The instructions are to be carefully edited, rewritten.
The scope at 330 grams is a behemoth!
Average person has no chance to cock the device by hand. And it is not like lifting an 80 pound bag of cement. The cranking device ordered a week later is what makes the whole tool work. Once the instructions are digested, and the "fuzzy" illustrations too, the whole device is ready to assemble. Too many wrenches in the package though. Also, the illustrations for attachments of the cocking paws catch for different models are a disaster. No detail as to pre-drilling a hole etc. After a few first shots, adjustments made to elevation, the arrows fly 3" into a block of cedar. Precise, no more adjustments necessary. I have high hopes that once I get used to the weight, and safety! I will enjoy it for a long time.No broken strings so far.
