I bought this crossbow after researching for about 2 months. Mostly because of the weight and the price. It is one of the lighter Barnetts and there have been less issues with it than other brands. I have not had a chance to hunt with it yet, but it functions great. It was easy to set up. Put on the the bow section and attach the scope. Then it only took me 5 shots to get the scope aligned at 20 yds. A little louder than I expected, but boy is it fast. Cannot follow the bolt upon release. I am thinking of getting some Limbsaver sound dampeners (super quads or alphashox) to see if that will quiet it down. Cannot wait to try it out in New Jersey this fall for deer hunting.

The crossbow, scope and arrow combination had me shooting right on at 20, 30, 40 and just outside the bull at 50 yds.
All this within an hour of assembly.
I was really impressed with this package.
I combined this setup with a shooting stick and it was incredibly accurate in the field.

Very nice! This is my first owned crossbow and the overall preformance is spectacular. The balance is great and bolt release is smooth. My only complaint is really more ignorance then anything, make sure to get a target that can support 350spf bolts. I have two bolts that are now perminently fixed inside my 24" archery target....oops.
This crossbow is a must have!

Totally Freakin' Awesome!!! First crossbow & loved it before I had received it...really love it now.
Wish their was a instructional disc videos explaining assembly. The pamphlet is not detailed enough for this first timer, other than that, I can't wait to use it!!!

Buckman,It looks like you are well versed with these crossbows - I was thinking about getting a barnett predator - but you said that you upgraded from the predator to the ghost 350 - but the predator shoots faster - which do you recommend and why?

Although I found the bow to be extremely accurate, the safety has broken off my Quad 400 and a friends. Since this cannot be a coincidence, it must be a known problem Has this problem been resolved? If so, I will purchase another for my father.Answers
