Barnes' most popular hunting bullet, the TSX™ Triple Shock® X-Bullet utilizes all-copper construction and innovative design to give you one of the deadliest, most dependable bullets you can buy. More than 20 years of copper bullet experience go into the TSX, delivering a bullet that gives you lower fouling, better accuracy, greater velocity and lower pressure. The TSX's all copper construction delivers a lighter bullet than comparable lead core bullets, delivering higher velocities, flatter trajectories, and less recoil. This construction also delivers nearly 100% weight retention and produces surer, deeper penetration with its specially engineered nose cavity that peels back into four sharp-edged petals that cut through game. This specially designed nose cavity expands to double the bullet's diameter almost immediately after impact at both high and low velocities, giving you a bullet that is as deadly on longer shots as it is at point blank range. The Triple-Shock X also features multiple precisely engineered rings cut into the bullet shank that serve as relief valves as the bullet travels down the bore. These rings give the bullet's copper material a place to expand into under pressure, resulting in reduced pressures, less copper fouling, and better barrel harmonics for improved accuracy. Worked up loads in .223, .243, .270WSM, .308, and .300WSM. All groups great. Never really cared for smaller caliber rifles until my son shot a deer facing him around 150 yds. Hit 3" in front of shoulder, exit hip!
Massive internal damage.Changed my mind about .243.

I have used Barnes bullets for my 300 Wtby and loved the results I got. I am getting the same results from the tsx 70grn for my 223 cal. Good grouping, At least M.O.A. and good penetration. If you havent tried these bullets do yourself a favor and pick up a box and try some different powders I know you wont be dissapointed.

Great bullets. Deadly on game and pretty accurate. The weight of the bullet does vary a bit from one bullet to the other. For 308 caliber 165 grains for instance you will find almost 100 percent of the bullets heavier then 165. Varying from 165.1 grains to 165.9 grains. This does not make me feel happy when reloading the bullets as I have to sort them in groups according to their weight, but overall the bullets seem to reasonably accurate.
