DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! this bait is absolutly horrible, i caught 1 dink on it and that was it ,and i bought 2 to make sure it wasnt the first kit. the video must be in farm ponds because i have never even gotten hits like the show in the video. your better off buying Zoom Super flukes, they are weedless and have better action than the banjo minnow. ITS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fish these minnows just like I fish a worm. Instead of twitching the rod tip upward. Twitch it sideways. Almost like a jerkbait but, not as hard. They dont have the resistance a jerkbait has. Twitch it just enough to make the minnow dart and dive. Do this a couple of times. Then let it fall to the bottom and, pause for a couple of seconds. Then do process over. I have not used the new minnows yet. But the old ones catch fish. The only thing about the minnow. Is in heavy wood cover (tree laydowns). They get snagged easy if you dont watch it. Other than that they are great fishing lures. Patience and practice with them. Another thing watch the video that comes with them over and over. Buy the way I catch alot of big fish on worms.

I use this in certain sandy mossy spots and it catches fish but sometimes its really hard to hook em with the hook being hooked at the very tip of the nose of it. not all of the time are the fish going to be grabbing it right at the head. On days that other baits wont work on just pitch out the banjo a few times and you will have a good chance of catching a fish, after all its basically a minnow...

the old banjo was great but I had two knocks with it. 1. the corkscrew eventually tor the nose out of the bait. and 2. you couldn't fish it in more then 10 feet of water. but with one invention the banjo eye both of these problems are solved. this is the easiest lure and most produtive lure I have ever used. If you can't catch fish on this lure you don't know how to fish
