These Banjo Minnows really work, and they work when other lures won't. But, you've got to work them
like they show on their Video. I find the slower I work them the better. If you're able to use a pool, or have clear water. watch the Minnows action. The slightest
twitch makes the lure come alive and then die over and over. Bass just can't resist this action. I've stood in the same spot and used a variety of lures other than the Banjo with limited success. When I switched
to the Minnow the Bass were all over it.
If you work this lure properly and don't catch fish, MOVE. the Bass aren't anywhere near where you are. This is one of the only lures I've ever seen where the Big lure = Big fish doesn't hold up. I've
caught 7lbs Bass on the 4in Minnow and I've caught
10in Bass on the 7in Minnow.
I've used these in salt water and Blues. Mackerel,
Redfish, Trout, and Jacks love them. But, man do they chew them up. I've caught lots of Bass on the
same Minnow and it still looks new. a short biting
toothy fish will put a real hurting on the Minnow.
The trick with these fish is to let them have it for a
couple of moments before setting the hook. You risk the fish biting thru your line this way and heavy leader material will dampen the action. You can use a fast retrieve to avoid this somewhat but for the cost
of the Minnow it's worth losing a few lures to get the action they generate. I just hate to lose any of my Minnows. I would like For Banjo to let you just buy
a bunch of my favorites instead of the variety kits.
However, that won't stop me from buying them. If I were building a survival kit and was limited to one fishing lure, the Banjo Minnow would be the one.

These things work. You do have to know how to use them. They are like using a rubber worm, twitch them several times. If you feel a hit, stop and wait, watch your line, if your line moves, set the hook. It takes patience and practices. Good luck.
