Because this warranty covers anything, Badlands utilizes the very best materials and construction methods. Made of its own proprietary KXO-32 fabric, Badlands packs feature superior ripstop characteristics, water resistance, and extreme quiet use in cold temperatures. Kevlar Aramid thread is used at all stress points with industrial Hypalon gasket reinforcement at all major compression points. Every nylon web strap on the pack is sewn into two seams where it is bar tacked and seam taped. Every interior seam in the pack is taped to resist separation and increase the pack's water resistance. Even the zippers are made to be better, with an inverted zipper chain design that keeps the teeth from getting fouled with snow, sand, mud, or anything else you run into and keeps water from entering through the zipper teeth.
