This innovative design pushes the pack with all the heavy gear directly against your back while moving the super light weight frame away from your back, giving you an external frame pack with an internal frame pack's center of gravity and the strength of an external! The OX's lightweight frame is made from ultra light, ultra strong T-6 aircraft aluminum with a curved design for perfect balance as you haul your prize and gear back home. This innovative frame features zero welds (and zero weak spots) and breaks down in the field so you can tuck it away into the side pockets of the pack or use it as a hauling sled. Because this warranty covers anything, Badlands utilizes the very best materials and construction methods. Made of its own proprietary KXO-32 fabric, Badlands packs feature superior ripstop characteristics, water resistance, and extreme quiet use in cold temperatures. Kevlar Aramid thread is used at all stress points with industrial Hypalon gasket reinforcement at all major compression points. Every nylon web strap on the pack is sewn into two seams where it is bar tacked and seam taped. Every interior seam in the pack is taped to resist seperation and increase the pack's water resistance. Even the zippers are made to be better, with an inverted zipper chain design that keeps the teeth from getting fouled with snow, sand, mud, or anything else you run into and keeps water from entering through the zipper teeth.

I have been using the OX frame pack as a multi purpose tool this past year. ( ex. hauling ground blinds around, hauling in 60-80 pounds of mineral through the woods, and also packing weight on the frame for training.) In every situation the OX worked very well.
