Sturdy and rugged, with lots of room and nice features...there is one big drawback for me and that is the "hydration" option. There is a small 35oz bladder that has to be purchased separately, not only that but it hangs from a mesh pocket that provides little or no protection for the bladder. The mesh pouch rolls up into a compartment between the shoulders when not in use. Their bladder is one-off and is difficult to source, good luck finding that size from any other company. I was able to rig my entire camelback carrier and bladder onto the pack straps...it's kind of jenky but it gets the job done, not what you want to hear when you spend top dollar.

3rd Badlands pack I've owned. Same great ergonomics, same poor straps, zipper pulls and fasteners. You would think that with the problems people have with the straps, etc., Badlands would get the hint. I understand their lifetime warranty but the best warranties are the ones you'll never need as it's just as easy for me to repair as it is to send back to Badlands and wait weeks for return. Everything else is great but come on man, Badlands get with it.

Worth ever cent
I have used my Badlands Monster Fanny pack going on a few years now and I love it. This is a well made product and has made several trips into the woods with me. I like how I can disconnect the shoulder straps because I wear the fanny pack facing forward. This enables me to carry my treestand on my back. Also the warrenty and customer service is the best. I broke a buckle and Badlands shipped the replacement part to me in a few days with no hassle. I am already looking forward to purchasing another one of their packs to strap my gun and bow to it. Thus freeing up my hands.
