I have had this pack for about five years, and love it. I hunt western big game, so the pack is on my back all day. I don't walk 200 yards to a tree stand and hang it up. I have owned several badlands packs, I liked them all, but this one is my favorite. It is almost the perfect day pack. I only have two complaints: the zipper pulls break easily, and the warranty is not that good. BEWARE OF THE WARRANTY. I had my pack strapped on a 4 wheeler last year and it rubbed 3 small holes in my pack. I sent it back to badlands for repair ($12 shipping each way). They only "fixed" one of the 3 holes, and my 7 year old daughter could have done a better job. I contacted badlands and expressed my lack of satisfaction with the repair, but didn't get any resolution. All I wanted was my money refunded for the shipping. I wished I would have saved the money and bought a new pack. I would have been a badlands guy for life, but now I'm going to eberlestock.

I bought this pack for the Hypervent feature specifically because I hate having a sweaty back all the time. It works. I have noticed that I don’t sweat as much with the back of the pack off my back like it is. I love how light the pack is and that’s its narrow enough to still carry a rifle and draw a bow.
My major dislike about this pack is the hydration system. They claim its hydration compatible but it is lacking in my opinion. The hose comes out from under the Hypervent support and kinks if you pull the hose up over your shoulder to take a swig. Also, the pack is a little short for those who are taller. I’m 6’2” and it’s a little short for me, not enough to send it back, but enough to make me wish it was longer at times. Otherwise it is a quality pack worth the money!

This is a great pack. I have hauled it many miles and found it to be the most comfortable pack I have ever used. Don't hesitate to buy this pack.

This pack offers plenty of room to store all my gear for those longer trips in the field but it is also small enough to use as a day pack for trips to my box stand. Pack is definitely built tough, which I think we can all appreciate, and is also very comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.
