I have a very nice tan colored fishing vest that I wear every time I am out in my boat fishing. My 7 year old son wanted a vest like mine. There was no way I was going to spend 50 to 60 bucks on a nice vest that he would outgrow in a year. So, I got him one of these Backyard Safari vests. Really nice product. He loves it. He wears it fishing, while riding his bike, and he wants to wear it while at the Cub Scout camp out this coming weekend. The vest is light weight, comfortable for him, and has lots of pockets to put his gear and things in, which is why he likes it. Right now he is outside in his tree house, pretending he is an explorer and wearing his vest of course. Good product that will give your little fisherman or outdoor explorer hours of fun. Great price too. Investing in a Backyard Safari vest is an investment in your child's outdoor fun.

I bought 3 of these for my greatgrandchildren ages 3to7. I was sort of out of touch with what their likes and dislikes are. I didn't want to go electronic. I know their parents are sort of outdoorsy so I picked these vests.
They are absolutely adorable.! We got lanyards and flashlights and cowboy hats as well. They cowboy hat was a hit with the 3 yo because he thought he looked like Woody from Toy Story. Otherwise, they probably don't know what a cowboy is.

My six year old grand son loved it! It was his favorite Christmas gift. We are now looking together for "scientific" items to fill the pockets and clips. It does come with a brochure in the pocket of other items to purchase!
