I purchased this, not wanting to have my gun drilled thinking it would be a quick and easy fix for a scope. Mistake. I got my gun sighted in for 100 yards with my Nikkon Pro Staff shotgun scope. In order to completely clean the gun, I had to take the B-Square mount off. Thinking it shouldn't move, I figured I was good to go. Well, about a month later, before deer season, I took it out to shoot it again just to make sure it was still on. Not even close. I had to go through the process all over again. I'm taking it into Bass Pro and having them drill and tap it out for permanent mounts. Since I bought the gun there I only need to purchase the mounts.

I bought the b-square for my benelli nova. Unfortunately this is the only way to mount a scope to my gun because the receiver is made of plastic and cannot be drilled or tapped without cracking. The mount went on easily but then the problems began. I had read several reviews stating that if you get the screws too tight the action won't work. Well the action worked but the trigger didn't. So for the first 6 shots all I heard was a click because the trigger wouldn't release so I kept having to back the screws out. Then when I got the screws where they didn't interfere with the trigger, then the scope mount was loose and raised up in the front about a 1/4 of an inch every time I shot it. Seems to me the biggest problem is the size of the screws being half the size of the holes in the gun receiver therefore allowing play and movement. I also now have a scratched gun because the b square moved around on the gun. As I mentioned before the worst part about this whole deal is if you want to add a scope to a nova this is the only product available since you can't drill and tap it. Purchase at your own risk!

this product is cheap and heavy
this adds unwanted weight on your gun and after sighting it in on my mossberg tactical the retical fell right out.....they must keep them attached to the lens with glue...brutal...stay away. replaced with a red dot and love it.

If the same one is used on the 12, seems like there would be air space between mount and receiver on the youth model 20 gauge. Are there spacers? I need to mount a truglo gobble stopper red dot scope on the gun.Answers
