Extremely easy to set-up, the Hook-Set Tip-Up is designed using a firing pin with three hook-setting notches. When a fish strikes, the firing pin moves out of the slide causing the spring to decompress and pull straight up on the line, setting the hook at the optimum time to prevent gullet and gill hooks.
