Extendable length gets you deep into the brush where lunker crappie hide!
The B'n'M Black Widow® Crappie Rod is a telescoping rod that extends up to 10' to 20' depending on model. Its 100% fiberglass construction and fiberglass-reinforced joints provide extra durability and increased sensitivity—an excellent rod for jigging live bait. Rods are equipped with a metal eye tip and line-keeper clips.
This is the second time I've purchased this type of rod.
I was disappointed at the durability of the first set, so I committed to being more gentle with this set. Too bad for me, I discovered that the quality of workmanship had generally diminished since my first purchase. In the case of each of 13' rods the plastic cap at the "butt"/large end of the rod was very poorly attached and would not stay in place to prevent the other parts of the rod from sliding out the largest opening and into the water/or onto the ground. I've had to add glue to each one of them to make them serviceable. As to the 10' rods, I haven't tried them out yet but basis the experience discussed above, I'm not optimistic.

cheap and practable
I set this rod up for tenkara fly fishing and dapping. Although not as fexible as real tenkara and dapping rods when you factor in the price it works well. it would be nice to have a cork grip. The rod slips in wet hands.

Don't recall that being posted or written on the rod, but I've used Senko worms rigged wacky, 1/8 oz Beetle Spins, and up to a 1/4 oz Rat-L-Trap. Wouldn't go heavier than that, however...my taste, anyway.
