Excellent knife, BUT the sheath is very tight and makes inserting and removing the knife very hard.

On a recent elk hunt I slid down a small hill & lost the knife because the rivets popped out of the sheath. Luckily a cowboy had a hammer & brass rivets & we were able to fix it. Nice knife. Nice sheath, just too small of rivets.

I have owned a Boker fixed blade knife for several years and I was trying to find a backup knife to use in case the one I had was ever lost. This knife not only looks good but the overall weight, handling and material are top notch. You could spend more for other knifes but you wouldn't get any better quality than this knife provides. Do yourself or your favorite hunter a favor and get them this knife.
