I had set out some inexpensive decoys on my first hunt this year.The turkeys came in and saw them and turned and ran.I ordered this Jake decoy and used it the first chance i had.They couldn't leave this decoy alone.I had several toms all around the Avion-X.Had the opportunity to take more than one shot in 15 minutes.Well worth the money.Next season I will have more from Avion-X

I bought the Avian X LCD Jake for the 2013 Spring Turkey Season. Let me tell you, boys and girls, this thing works . . .just like on TV.
My first morning out I had a tom strutting around my new decoy. He was completely enamored with it, paying no attention to the fact he was also looking right down the barrell of my shotgun. So Tag #1 was filled my first morning of spring turkey hunting.
Several days later, I had 7 jakes come in to the decoy, and they were all worked up about it. The day after the jakes, I called in a big old tom, and he went straight to the decoy and never took his eyes off it. It was the last thing he saw. If you have been using other types of decoys as I was with no "takers," please go buy yourself an Avian X. It will change the game for you.
To be fair, I will say that these decoys are bulkier and heavier than their cost saving competitors. If you have a fat face like mine, it can be a little difficult to get to the valve stem to inflate. The other downside was that my spring turkey season was over in a week after filling both tags, but if you can overlook these minor challenges, you'll be shooting turkeys. I am a believer.
