I've got both the Jake and lookout hen from Avian-X and I must say that until you get one of these in your hands, you can't appreciate just how realistic these decoys are. Hands down, there is no comparison to any other plastic or foam decoy. Much cheaper than a real stuffed/taxidermy decoy, but look just as good. Paint does not chip or rub off. These things are made out the same rubber material as those playground kickballs that we all grew up with. If you are on the fence about getting one of these, do not hesitate. Best on the market. I will use no other. Oh, and they are self sealing in case that old tom will not back off of your set and your shot peppers your decoys.

This decoy is very realistic and the toms will come right to it on a string. I had such good luck with the Breeder Hen, that I bought the Jake to go along with her. The first time out last weekend I called in 4 toms and the dominant tom flogged the Jake decoy! He would not give up, he just kept pouncing on him until we stuck him with the xbow. Sadly the arrow went through the tom and deflected into the Jake decoy, but it still holds air!!! The x cut in the side will leak if you squeeze it, but once you blow it up it stays full just like before the shot. I plan to fix it with fletch tite, but it's just fine as is.
I watched a video online where a guy shot it and placed 25 pellet holes in the decoy. It still held air as well. The rubber is thick and self seals.
You can't go wrong with the Zink line of decoys. I've hunted over many and there's none better at this price point hands down.

Not much of a "decoy man". I only use them in the afternoons when I go out a set up somewhere OR if I roost one the evening before and know exactly where to set up in advance. However, I can't believe the detail of these decoys. YOU CANNOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN THEM AND A REAL TURKEY 15 steps from you. The color, texture, and design are incredible.
However, I do not like to carry them around blown up in these Arkansas thickets. I collapse them but only the jake will fit in my turkey vest comfortably. I put him in straight and upside down in my back pouch. I fold the hen up and carry her.
Price is a little much but hey, no need in having "molded money". I've wondered about this though......." I WILL NEED TO MAKE SURE THE GOBBLER IS AWAY FROM THAT $100 decoy.....ONE PELLET IM sure will ruin it because air will leak out.

This is an unbelievably realistic decoy. I bought both the jake and the hen and am very happy with how both of them look. I thought they looked very real online and now that I have them out of the box i found that the online pictures are nothing compared to in person. The paint job is unbelievable and the rubber is very thick and am not worried about it ever getting a hole in it.
Now to get to what i didnt like about it and why it got docked a star. First of all it is very had to inflate the decoy. it comes with the same kind of air tube as a tire would but without a metal end. I tried to use a small hand pump to fill it but the rubber is not strong enough to screw anything onto the treads. The second thing i didnt like about it was that the decoy is so heavy on the tail end that you have to strategically place your stake in a certain way to have it facing the direction you want. other than that I am very happy with both my decoys and cant wait to see how the toms like them.
