I use Avet reels for a living I own every model twice over from The SX to the TRX50.I own Gut Buster Charter's out of Sarasota the reels are perfect for everyone from kids to elderly I love the LX model both single and double speeds I spool my LX's with Power Pro 65 High Vis Yellow you can pull a Medium Mako to a Barely Keeper grouper drag is perfect and with a rating 20lbs of strike is good for just about anything simply put

I purchased my Avet LX a couple of years ago and cannot even begin to express how pleased with the reel's performance I am. Everything I read about the LX proved true. I've had the preset drag checked several times and, as yet, it has NOT required adjustment. If you want a day free of reel problems...stick with AVET!

I own Avet LX6 and I absolutely love it. I can cast mid-size lures, drop jigs, and fly line bait with ease. I have no problem casting this reel, the retrieve is strong and smooth, and drag works great under pressure. It's lightweihgt for a reel in it's class. It matches the performance of my Accurates very favorably and at a much lower price point.
