Rated 4 out of 5 by Good cover for the price. I ordered this cover after retunring the Bass Pro Shops brand WeatherSafe™ Trailer Tite™ Standard-Duty boat cover that leaked from the moment I used it. So far, this Attwood cover is doing a better job of keeping my boat dry. They were a little generous with the fabric. I measured my boat at 14 feet, and ordered a 15 foot long cover to be safe. This 15 foot cover is about a foot too long, but it's better than it being too short. I was a little disappointed that the tie-down straps were not sewn into the cover. Instead they have sewn in loops that you have to run the straps through to secure the cover. You will have to cut your length needed for each loop from the large rolled up strap they provide. Overall a good cover. May 7, 2010

A:
Item number 38-526-476-00 fits a 14' length with a 72" beam. When measuring the width of your boat for the cover you need to measure straight, flat line from side to side at the widest point on the hull (boat). If you still come out with 63” then the cover may be too wide. You might have to order additional straps to help tie down the cover when trailering. Hull width vs. cover size

Details:
I have a 14' V-hull aluminum fishing boat, and I wanted to get one of these covers, but my hull width is only about 57" at its maximum. Since the 14' cover is meant for 70" widths, does that mean that it won't fit my boat right? Can I still use the cover effectively even while driving even though my boat is more narrow?
