Bases for bow and stern light poles from Attwood are designed with nickel plated contacts and are rubber covered to resist corrosion when lights are stowed away. The tough, resilient 2-pin base for pole lights is ideal for installation in close quarters and provides 2-pin socket for angled poles when installed on narrow gunwales or deck areas. Three-pin base for pole lights with locking collars is well-suited for rough conditions or long poles. Completely non-corrosive.

Well first thing I noticed was that the weather proof cap comes off overtime you open it. Really cheap hold down for the flimsy cap. The cap is rubber when it should be hard plastic with rubber o ring. And they should make the wire leads a little longer

This has worked out really well for me. I had to do a little modifying on my Ranger boat but it turned out good and is really very sturdy. This base looks good and is very durable and should last a long time.
