The bamboo tubes are each hand carved and tuned by musician craftsmen who select a range of tube sizes in order to produce a melody of tones. No other wind chime compares in sound to the mellow, earth inspired tones of hand-tuned bamboo.
The bamboo chimes are varnished for outdoor protection, but it is best to bring them indoors in severe winter weather. Length: 42''.

The finish was flaking off the wind chime when it was removed from the package. Since it was a gift, there was no time to return it, but we would have. The chime itself seems quite nice, but poor quality finish.
