I've used this with a couple of Emotion Spitfires and a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100. My husband said it wouldn't work with his Perception Sport Pescador 12 but that I think that was operator error. Anyway, this has been an invaluable tool for getting sit-on-top kayaks to and from the water. I'm a 53-year-old mom and can't haul around a 50 lb. kayak as easily as I might like. It was especially useful on a recent trip to NC's Outer Banks, where we kayaked the sound every day. Only problem I've had was that the rubber bumpers slid off the posts when the cart was turned upside-down. Fixed that with some Candle Stick-Um. Problem solved and substance is unaffected by water. I've seen other carts with only one horizontal bar that go for much more. For the money, this is a stable and reliable solution.

It didn't fit correctly, the poles to insert in the holes didn't fit and it nearly punctured my new D10T kayak on my second use. I could have made something more effective at a cheaper price. And I had to modify it in order to get any proper use of it.

This is a good idea for the kayak. Although it is very poorly made.
The inner popping pieces that hold it together fail miserably. They bend in the wrong position sometimes allowing the wheel to slip off.
Also the locking devices that snug it up if it is not being held together by the popping pieces fails too. It does not retract the inner piece to make an entrance for the tube once dismantled.
This is good if you never take it apart.
Buy something of higher quality if you plan to dismantle.

After reading others reviews I figured I'd give it a try. I did have to cut about 1/2" off the cross bars but that was it. My yak is 30" wide.
Haven't found the problems others encountered and it use it to haul on sand, gravel and more. Easy 5min assembly and makes life easy when transporting to the water.
