Ideally sized for a long day hike or overnight stay, the hydration compatible Ascend MS3300 Mountain Series Pack is made to handle loads comfortably. The pack's load adjustment and support system helps you shoulder the load after packing the pack's 3300 cubic inches of space. System includes an adjustable torso-fit back panel with airmesh padding backed by a sturdy PE board and aluminum stay bars. Dual-density padded shoulder straps with sternum strap and heavily padded wrap waist belt lets you bear the load in comfort. Easy to load pack features a top-loading main compartment, front shove compression pocket, and bottom zippered compartment for sleeping bag or clothes. Side compression straps keeps load secure and easier to haul. Removable top lid pocket doubles as a fanny pack for short trips. Top compression lid includes zippered pockets for small items, while bottom zippered compartment includes a rain fly. Dual water bottle pockets (bottles not included). Pack also features daisy chain webbing and dual ice ax loops. Durable pack is made of polyurethane coated 600D polyester, 420D nylon, and 1680D ballistic nylon with reinforced stress areas. Rated 1 out of 5 by Baldy1977 Ascend 3300 Bought this pack for my back packing trip in the Grand Canyon. The stitching on the shoulder straps started to unravel in the first 1.5 miles. Stitching on the zippers also started to come undone during the trip. I was very unimpressed by the construction of this pack. It is roomy, but the poorly constructed. Would be a good pack to start out with for young adults and teens. August 18, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by waitforme great pack BUT i love the storage, the fanny pack, the rain cover included - BUT after two trips (pretty short ones too) the back straps started to rip, both of them! i was able to return it and am looking for another-similar-pack. i may even buy the same one or a little better because i really loved the way everything was situated August 13, 2011

I bought the ascend FS12 Kayak and loaded plenty of gear for a three day camping trip and the ascend MS3300 mountian pack was easy to load up and plenty of storage and comfortable, im 6'3" tall and 250 lbs. the best purchase ever. thankyou BassProShop.
