I have been searching for a low profile chair to be used at outdoor concerts and also to be packed on my motorcycle for camping trips. This chair exceeded all my expectations. It is very comfortable to sit in and collapses into a small bundle that can be lashed to a motorcycle or backpack. Last weekend , we spent 10 hours sitting at an outdoor concert, and never once were uncomfortable. The hammock style seat molds to your back if sitting up straight or lounging. A inflatable pillow helps when sitting up straight. The mesh material keeps you cool. The frame is very strong, and allowed one to place hands on the crossbar to push one up making it very easy to get up from. Most chairs collapse when trying to get up. I weigh 240 lb and never feared a collapse. I even took a nap using two chairs facing each other. I strongly recommend spending the few extra dollars. I am sure this chair will last many years. One of the best value and quality gear purchases I have made in many, many years. And if the lack of drink holder is a concern , as it did my girlfriend, just use a cheap hanging car holder. Purchased two of these chairs and took them on Waikiki beach vacation in my suitcase. They only weigh 5 pounds each. Quality is excellent. Very comfortable with the mesh seats. Carried my 270 pounds with no problem. Allowed us to go to several beaches in comfort.

The chair collapse down to a roll 8 inches in diameter and 27 inches long. There is space in the bag to pack other soft items as well. A compression strap may reduce the diameter by an inch.
