Rated 4 out of 5 by BuffaloRiverCrew Great insulation, and good comfort I purchased this item April 2013. We went camping and canoeing on the Buffalo River in Arkansas the same week. We spent two nights on the river and nighttime temps dropped to 38, and 40 degrees. This pad insulated me perfectly from the ground. Night one was on a sandy dry spot, night two was on a very moist but favorable ground. The ground got very cold This pad kept the cold at bay. I did have one issue was a small pinhole in the seam. The pad lost the pressure I added by mouth and I had to re-inflate a few times. Even when the air pressure was lost the pad still insulated and was marginally comfortable I packed mine wrapped around my sleeping bag and used a compression sack on both. I am going to attempt a repair on the pinhole. I would suggest this pad and I hope the pinhole is an anomaly. April 17, 2013

What size does this sleeping pad roll up to realistically?

Answers

I was able to roll mine up after use in the camp to about the size of a football in diameter. I eventually found it simpler to roll it up, bleed all the air out, close the valve and then wrap it up with my sleeping bag. This allowed me to use the stuff sack my sleeping bag came with to compress both.
