I bought the 55L bag. I use it as scent tight storage for my hunting clothing. Bag works great seals up tight and keeps my hunting clothing scent free.

I bought 2 of these 10L bags this week and used them on the water today - the bags worked fine, but one of the plastic snap rings on one of the bags was broken when it came out of the wrapper - too far to go back to the store - I'll just have to find a cobbled replacement. Otherwise, they're good bags - it's just too bad to have a broken piece.

I purchased this bag just prior to my first, four day kayak trip. I wasn't exactly sure what size I needed, so erring on the side of caution, I went big. Boy am I glad I did! I put a light sleeping bag, and most of my clothing for four days in this bag! I'm an experienced kayaker, so dumping wasn't really a concern. However, things happen, but upon receiving this bag; I knew there was nothing to worry about. It is heavy, well made, and tough as nails. It will be going with me on all future trips, until I wear it out. However, judging from the way this bag is built; that won't be anytime soon.

Yes if there's a lot of air in the bag or if what ever you packed isn't too dense.

Sure that floats just have to be careful that the things you have in not exhibiting excessive heavy, if you put a camera, your wallet, car keys, your first aid kit and other more well-closed as the manufacturer recommends insurance floating.

I would think 10L or at most 20L.

The size bag would depend on what items you would be taking on the kayak trip. If you just have a small amount of clothing you would not need the larger bags. The measurements are listed so you can determine the amount of space they will need in the kayak as well.Details:

They can be completely submerged, I wouldn't make a habit of it. But if they fall out and are recovered in a relatively short time, the contents should be fine. The heavy-duty ones are only blue, lighter-duty bags are orange-yellow.

Yes these bags are made to be waterproof, even when submerged, aslong as they a rolled corectly. As for the color this bag only come in blue at this time.A:
As long as you have rolled it up and fastened it yes, I got my canoe hung under a log, which filled my canoe and fully submerged my bags, all were dry as could be on the inside.Details:

Question: Will they leak in the rain, if not over packed and closed as instructed?

I would hope that they wouldn't leak. I have fallen out out a canoe and not found a drop after 20mins at the bottom.

They have a Roll-top design that seals contents from moisture. They are made for using in a Kayak and if dropped in the water made to keep the water out. You should have no problem wiht leaking due to rain.Details:
