This Kayak is a TANK!!
I do mostly creek fishing and this year the water has been down but I rarely have to get out, when I do its easy and very stable. I am 6'1" 275lbs..that being said I am very comfortable paddling in the stock seat and I can stretch out as mush as I want. The price is right, has a ton of deck space for customizing and storage. The one down side is it is heavy. At 77lbs it takes 2 people to load and unload from a trailer. But I think that's the price you pay for a well built kayak IMO. Other than that its money well spent.

by GoletaSlim Slow and Steady
The two best words to describe this kayak are slow and steady. It is a slow kayak that tracks reasonably well and is super super stable but with that stability comes the lack of speed. It doesn't really matter how hard you paddle, it will continue to go at its own slow pace. I mainly fish so cal ocean and am frequently launching from the surf, something this kayak is very bad at. With all the buoyancy in the back the kayak cant tilt back to ride over the breakers ( the overall very flat shape of the kayak doesn't help either) instead it darts through them leaving the kayak temporarily flooded until the water can drain through the scupper holes. This brings me to the next issue, the hatches aren't water tight, they leak. Not a big issue but make sure to either seal them correctly or not put anything that cant get wet in them. The seating situating is awesome, I was on a kayak fishing trip in la jolla and was on my but for up to 8 hrs three days in a row and didn't have much discomfort. The overall layout was nice, the two flush mount rod holders hold the rods almost straight back (which I prefer) and the scotty style rod holder is ok, its inner diameter is too small to hold my larger rods. The back area can hold a standard size milk crate and and even hold more behind that with the bungee area and the front cargo area is within reach after scooting forward. The center hatch can hold two of my plano 3700 series lure boxes. I feel reel safe in this kayak which will outweigh its inability to roll over larger waves for now. I hope this helps others with their purchase!

I got this kayak back in March and love it. Not many weekends have went by without being out on the water since. This is a great yak. It's very stable and tracks well. Love getting to spots most can't and coming away with fish that most boaters can't reach.

This is my first yak and I love it. So far I've only used it on Barren River Lake in Kentucky. It's stable and tracks great through the water, even on the days where the wind has kicked up 15-20mph. I didn't do any extra sealing before putting it in the water and I haven't had a single drop in the hull on any of my trips. The only thing I would have loved to have changed about it is the size of the open space behind the seat. It's ideally supposed to fit a standard cooler, but because it's tapered and has D-rings for tying things down, a standard cooler won't fit. I ended up finding a nice alternative for a live well. Also, as everyone has said, that pesky rod holder is terribly placed directly in your paddle's path so I haven't even bothered taking it out with me. Both of those critiques are nit picky. It's really a great kayak and is easy to fish from.
