Rated 5 out of 5 by 1Newbie Love this kayak
I did not know anything about kayaks. I bought it because it was a sit in model and purple - seriously.
I LOVE IT! Easy to navigate, plenty of room and comfortable. An avid kayaker friend could not believe I found such a great kayak with no knowledge. She wants one now too!
You won't be disappointed. I would buy another!

Rated 5 out of 5 Very Good Fishing Kayak
I own two canoes but wanted a smaller boat that I could load, unload and portage myself. I wanted a kayak that I could fish from, but had enough capacity that I could use it for overnight camping. I fish primarily farm ponds, small creeks and rivers. After doing much research I decided on this one and have been very satified with the kayak. I've owned this kayak for about six months. I've used it last summer, fall and into the winter (until the ponds iced over). The design of the keel makes it track through the water well and it is stable. It has enough room to carry fishing gear and equipment. It is easy to load and unload from a truck or car. It is light enough to portage. I really like the dashboard storage and the open cockpit makes it easy to move gear around while inside the kayak. The seat is comfortable and the cockpit is roomy. The foot pegs have plenty of adjustment. I did not have any problem getting them set in just a few minutes after getting in the boat. This is a great kayak for fishing and over-night excursions in slower-moving creeks and rivers. So far I am very pleased with this kayak.

Just bought this and a FS10 Titanium about a month ago. Came to us shipped via UPS. No problems with delivery. Been out a couple of times on them. Love the comfort of the seat and the overall handling the kayak is very easy to manage. We are very happy with this kayak.

I know this kayak was redesigned in 2012, and at that time you replaced the old colors with two new offerings (purple and red/black). Do you anticipate changing the color options again for 2013?Customer service "chat" said they wouldn't know until the new models actually appeared. I was hoping someone here might if new colors were going to be an annual thing... Thanks.

I'm wondering what length of paddle to get for this kayak? I use a 240 cm paddle with my FS10, which I notice is a 2" wider boat.Answers
A:
we use a 240 cm on the D10. Works great.A:
A kayak with a 23” width or under is recommended for a 5’5” person to order a 210-220cm paddle. 5-5” to 5’11” go with a 220cm or 6’+ go with a 220-230cm paddle. ThanksAnswers

Hi, I carried my D10 upside down on my car on a trip. I had it tied rather loosely on each end to the bumper and a strap around the kayak through the car doors. I had the strap about 24" from the bow end. Now the seat will not fit into the slots because the kayak is spread wide. This should not have happened but it did. Do you have any ideas on how I can correct the warp? I'd appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.Answers

Ihave heard other people letting it sit in the sun to let the plastic get hot and putting straps around it to pull it back in.Answers
