My wife and I wanted to do some kayaking while at the lake , and saw the Ascend A10 at bps we both bought one and went out to the lake , it handled perfectly these kyaks are 10 ft long and weigh about 50 lbs, we both have to carry one by one to the lake shore but with the two wheel dollies it probably wouldn't be so bad.
We love them and take them when ever we go camping we haven't fished in them but to just go out on the lake and have a joyful and relaxing time these are the ticket

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2coldogs Great kayak for two dogs
I had been looking for a kayak that would accommadate two fairly large dogs and still be economical and light enough for me. This kayak fulfils all of those requirements. It is a little hard to drain after use, but overall a great kayak for the price. My dogs also enjoy it, it is easy for them to enter and leave the kayak.

This kayak is fantastic. We bought it for my wife a 1.5 years ago in Denver. She absolutely loves it. We added a few pad eyes next to the cabin and around the back storage. Even I took it out with my 5'11 large frame for fishing (that's me on the photo.) Extremely stable, never a slightest feeling of turning it over. Highly recommended. If you need a kayak for casual weekend paddling, lake fishing and you don't want to spend crazy dollars, this is the one. Get it.

Made for leasure kayaking and fishing, best buy in the business. If you want a kayak for fishing this is the one. You can add rod holders and cleats yourself for $20 and save hundreds because you dont have to buy the 'fishing' model. I had the older model, the new one is much improved in my opinion and for the same $300 price it has a much more comfortable seat and is more spacious for your gear. Caught so many fish out of it.

I have a 100lb golden retreiver, I weigh less than 200lbs so I know weight wouldn't be an issue. However, would he fit to lay down or be comfortable with me or in the stroage behind me?Answers
A:
That would be very tight, I have a 20lb beagle/rat terrior and he likes to stand on the bow. he doesn't like in the inside although he would fit.A:
Your 100lb. Golden Rretriever should be able to sit behind you in the storage compartment. It may not provide a comfortable ride for your Dog if he attempted to lie down.Answers
A:
as like any kayak, getting in and out takes some practice but not at all hard to get in and outAnswers
