Ariat® Maverick II 12'' Pull-On Western Boots for Men
I wore these for almost 4 years daily in a carpentry shop environment and once properly broken in they were more comfortable than slippers. With proper care the leather can last indefinitely and if I hadn't been wearing them in a shop mine would have been a hand me down to my kids. I was incredibly sad to finally retire them but the soles were ripping open in several places and I decided to get a fresh pair instead of resoling them. The uppers probably could have kept going another few years but had a bunch of scars from being drug along screws and nails. This kind of comfort and daily use for so long was more than I expected given the price, abuse and neglect that they got from time to time.

Just picked up at BassPro, drove 2 hours to get them, couldnt wait for shipping. I have been wanting to pick these babies up ever since they debuted. I own the original Maverick's in suede, lasted 2 years and still going strong, but its just time for a cleaner pair for college. As long as you guys make the Maverick's I vow to not wear any other boot. I have never gotten compliments on my shoes before, but every time I put these on, just hundreds. Sometimes I just sit and look at them for long periods of time, its like looking at an exotic car. In love with the clear sole and the top stitch.

After seven + years
Finally buying a new pair of the best work boots ever made. Hope they didn't change anything. Wish they put this sole on more formal boots.

I am a rancher and I have worn these boots everyday for the last two years and they still have their shape and a lot of sole. I have worn them in all kinds of weather and they are the best work boots I have ever owned. I have a tendency to "run my boot over" to the side when I walk.................these boots will not do that. They have strong counters and rugged soles that will stand up to anything. I love the gore feature in the back of the boot allowing for easy on and off. Great boot.
