Ariat® Dahlia 11'' Western Boots for Ladies
Love My Boots, But made a BIG Mistake.
I purchased these boots last Saturday (10/11/14). Love them !!! I made the mistake of sparing waterproof sealer on them and ruined the leather. I am so hurt and disappointed due to the sever discoloration :-( of my boots. I do not know what to do.. any suggestions?

Head Turning Boots
These Ariat Dahlia boots (in Silly Brown) are nicer in person than on the web page. I'm an Ariat gal so I knew they'd be very comfortable providing I could get the right size. Based on lots of reviews, I knew these were on the narrow side. Since my feet are normal to wide, I sought out this boot in a C (Wide). Unfortunately, Amazon and Zappo's didn't carry this boot in a Wide. It IS available ~ You just have to find the online store that carries them in Wide. I did....(onlineshoes dot com or ariat dot com).
Back to the sizing. I have three pairs of Ariats and all three run 1/2 size big. So since I'm normally a size 8, I order my Ariats in a 7-1/2 for a perfect fit. And as I said, preferably in a C (Wide) but that can be hard to find sometimes. I was a bit nervous that these might end up being too small, even in the Wide, so I had my trusty plastic bag ready to use to squeeze my feet in past the instep. I knew that once they were in, and if they felt good, the instep would relax and they'd be fine. Low and behold, I unpacked them and tried without the bag and *plop*, they went right in! The Wide was the ticket. Thank goodness I was able to find a retailer that carries Wides!
The detail is amazing and tasteful. Not over-the-top at all, but definitely eye catching. The Silly Brown colors are warm and rich. Love the wingtip. Love the 9" shaft height too. I was a tad worried that I'd find the heel too high because some retailers say the heel is 2-1/2"....it isn't. It's about 2" like all my cowboy boots, other than the Roper style.
I'd consider these dress boots in that I wouldn't muck stables or work in the pasture wearing them. Not that they couldn't take it; just wouldn't want to get them dirty! These are going to be worn for everything else though. With jeans and skirts.
I couldn't be happier. I'm still a devoted Ariat gal! Thanks, Ariat.
