Ardent Reel Butter Grease
Love this product. Goes on well and does not clump in cold weather

Does the trick
I recently rebuilt a baitcaster and used this grease for the drive gears. The grease tube was handy and placed the grease where I wanted it to, with very little effort. The grease itself is "butter smooth" (hence the name). After running the gears to distribute the grease I noticed the uniform film of lube over the gear teeth. 'll use this for my reels from now on.

Because of the butter color of this grease you can visually see how much you are putting on at the time . I really appreciate this attribute because I'm a perfectionist and want to get it done right the first time. My reels are in excellant shape for the work I put them through. If there is better grease out there I don't care because this excedes all my expectations.

First reel grease Iv'e ever purchased, so I can't compare to others. Grease has yellow tint so you can see where you are putting it. Is a little tacky so it stays where you put it. Spreads easily, use a small modelers paint brush with the bristles cut down. Don't use Q-Tips. little goes a long way.
