It's decent enough quality for the price. I ordered a larger size so I could layer, but it was bigger than I expected.
There is a crinkle noise when you move, so it might be better for stationary hunting in blinds.

I purchased one of these 18 months ago and several of my hunting friends wanted one after trying it on and hearing my recommendations.
Consequently I have purchased 5 more for my friends who are all very happy with their purchase and all would recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hunter4Christ Best jacket I ever bought
I bought this jacket last year for a cold weather hunt in Kentucky. Thankfully, I caught it on sale. It would be worth paying full price for, but on sale it was really a great value. It is lightweight and very warm, even on very windy days. We were hunting in 30 to 40 degree weather and some rain, and with this jacket, I was never cold or wet. I was very impressed with the quality. I have used it plenty of different times and so far, it has held up great. Normally when I buy an item such as this, it does not even come close to meeting my expectations. However, this jacket is one of the highest quality products that I have seen in quite a while. I just hope it will continue to hold up in the long run. If/when it goes on sale again, I plan to purchase at least one or two more.

I got this coat for my husband and his brother and my son. They love them. They are a very light coat but very warm. It is warm water proof and light weight. This is the first coat that I have heard my husband talk about of how nice this coat is. He wears it all the time and can not get out of it fast enough when he gets in side. Glade I got this coat on sale but wished I had got my self one.

Yes, it is good for cold weather with the proper base clothing. I have worn this jacket in temperatures as low as 10 degrees and have always been warm with minimal base clothing. I normally keep this jacket as well as an H4 "Essential" jacket in my backpack while hunting and I rarely need to reach for the warmer jacket.
Jacket is great for cold weather but it won't be enough if you're in below 20 degree weather. It's lightweight to boot so you don't have to wrestle with it getting in and out of your tent or sleeping bag.
Absolutely! I can only use mine when it is very cold, yet the fit is right on and if I needed to, I could wear something else underneath. I haven't has mine long enough to test the "waterproof" claim, but the wind blockage and warmth claims are truthful. I love this jacket.
Yes, I wore it in temperatures ranging from 40 degrees, no wind to 0 degrees and 25-30mph winds and it kept me warm in every situation. As long as you have a quality base layer and possibly a hooded sweatshirt under this you'll be warm.
Yes, but only in winds under about 5mph, above that very disappointing. Use this only for walking the dog in the yard now - replaced it with Bone Collector 3-in-1 hooded parka bought on sale and am very happy.
