Rated 4 out of 5 by pipher Good purchase overall The fit of these bibs are better than most and what the info about them being warm is true. After walking to the stand it lets your skin breath but still keeping you warm. having a leg zipper go all the way up to the knee is a good thing to with me using muck boots. the one thing I didn't like was the picture doesn't match the product. I wanted something with low not so thick buckles but what you get is the standard ones you find. But overall a good purchase and it keeps you warm and dry. November 23, 2012

The legs have zippers all the way up to the hip, which is nice for when they get a little to warm. These also make it much easier to put on and take off. Haven't had a chance to wear them in the field yet, but will be reporting on them once I get a chance to field test them. The only issue I had were the adjustment straps didn't seems to want to stay locked into place. They seemed to loosen up when I bent over. A minor issue, along with only a couple of pockets, but these are very minor issues. These are the best bibs I have ever owned. If you are looking for a great nearly perfect jacket and bib combo look no further than the H7. September 26, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by UTGrad Great Investment!! I was able to try the H7 Bibs in 30 degree weather with a 15 mph N wind. With the H6 jacket and Scent Lock base layer I was able to stay warm and very comfortable. It is also wind proof, no chill from the north wind. I recommend any of the Arctic Shield bibs. Do not expect that. Also, check to make sure the zippers are long enough to provide easy access to everything when you are out in the field! Having to adjust or fumble is NOT a good option - so do check 'before you go'!

The H4 Series is a bit lighter than the H3 Series. The H5 Series is just as warm as the H3 Series but offers ventilation features to help you keep cool when needed. So what works for you really depends on how well your body endures the cold and what type of hunting you are doing. This varies from person to person. Any of the three series will help you remain comfortable, from 50 degrees Fahrenheit to extreme cold temperatures.

We have hunters wearing the H3 Series from northern Canada to the Southern states who report warm results. However, if you mainly hunt during cooler weather and not necessarily when it’s bitterly cold, the H4 or H5 Pro Series may be more appropriate.

You may also consider how active you are while outdoors. The H5 Pro Series is a good choice for all types of hunters, especially for those who stay on the move. The H3 Series is a good choice for those sitting in blinds or treestands
