Using ArcticShield's exclusive, patented technology, the Performance Fit Bibs feature windproof, waterproof, breathable, moisture-management, a 100% polyester, quiet suede outer, and a 100% polyester lining. Designed with the highly active hunter in mind, these bibs feature four outer pockets; a low rise design, and long leg zippers with storm flaps. Hand wash. Imported.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stuff Bought a pair of these to replace my old Ideal brand bibs, tore the old bibs up walking through a green briar patch. The H6 bibs are awesome, been out hunting in single digit temps, high winds, snow/sleet. So far so good, I've been able to shed one layer of clothing with these. Briars seem unable to grab these bibs, water resistant so far, not been in a down pour, but melted snow never soaked through. At first I was unhappy that they did not have a double front zipper for when nature calls, but the low rise front allows me to reach the zipper without needing to unzip my out layer. Could use a couple more pockets, the 2 back pockets are pretty much useless, for me anyway. I wish that there was a front cross strap, the straps like to fall off when I'm not layering clothes. Sizing was perfect for me(LG), I'm 5-7/155lbs and the length was perfect, loose fit upstairs for heavy layering if needed. They're quiet IMO, comparable to my Browning hydro fleece gore tex parka. A: 
H6 is currently the lightest bib ArcticShield produces. H7 is a bit heavy for me. I have discussed a lightweight bib for 2012 for Southern hunters and these are in the works.

The H7 bibs have Arctic Shield®'s X-System outdoor wear using nano-silver nanotechnology for lifelong scent control.
Basically silver fibers to reduce bacteria build up.

The H6 is the lightest production bib ArcticShield currently produces. The H3.1 I have not had a chance to try on.

The H6 bibs don't come up as high on the chest or back as the H3 series.

A: 
The zippers do not go all the way to the hip, but they do come up high enough to allow you to put them on with boots on. The zippers are coil type.
