Rated 5 out of 5 by RooDawg bowhunter's dream "these pants, in combonation with the jacket, is the best cold weather gear for a bowhunter. if you like to hunt with your bow all season long, or you have cold days of hunting, and dont want to be restricted by bulky layers of clothes, then get this pair of pants and the jacket. when i recieved mine and i tried them on, i put the jacket on and before i could get the pants on i was already sweating. i used it with just my cold gear base layer. and one other layer of camo and i was completely warm. ive been searching for years for a great cold weather system of clothes without going broke, and when i saw that this jacket and pants were on sale. i had to make the purchase. take it from me an avid bowhunter ,dont go out and buy two to three hundred dollar bibs and jackets, this is all you need. trust me. if you dont , then you'll be making a mistake. thanks bass pro, for the great clothes and great prices." Rated 5 out of 5 by jlstrader Best Hunting Pants I have Used I am used to wearing bibs when I am hunting and this year I got tired of the of the pulling from wearing bibs and I spent the money on these pants and give it a shot. This weekend was the first time I needed them. I decided to press my luck and see what would happen. It was a nice 30 degrees when I headed out yesterday. I wore only my normal jean weight pants to the get to the stand and before climbing up I put on these pants. I thought for sure I would get cold, and I NEVER did. My legs were toasty warm the entire time. No issues at all. I will say that if you are going to be walking around, take the pants off. It was about 40 degrees when I climbed down and walked for about 30 minutes. My pants underneath wear soaked from sweat. I do have to say though that once I sat down in the stand again, I never got cold. I will be going out and buying the jacket to go with this before it really gets cold!!! It was worth every penny!! I am actually taking back the new clothes I bought my brother his birthday and getting him these. I will also be buying the same for my dad as we hunt in WV in Nov and Dec and it gets a little brutal at times. October 26, 2009
