Rated 4 out of 5 by bob14 filled my expectations
Used for ice fishing. Stayed warm and dry through snow and slush. Snaps have no holding power at the waste

They run large which is fine as I wear them over blue jeans.
Warm and comfortable. Hold up well in thickets and thorns.
Plenty of pockets with snap closures

Bought these pants on Monday, wore them on Wednesday. Came in contact with a SINGLE briar and ripped them. Now they are worth nothing and impossible to fix!! So if you are going to buy them for hunting in the woods, be cautious of your surroundings !!!

I just wore these for the first time this evening for a couple of hours.
It was about 60 degrees or so, but my light weight pants had been hanging outside and were damp from the recent 3 days of non stop rain.
With that being said, I knew my tree stand seat cushion would be wet. Well, it was actually dripping when I was climbing up the ladder. My butt was still completely dry after sitting for 2 and 1/2 hrs. I have to admit that I was skeptical with the waterproof claims in this price range of pants. Most others with comparable features are at least double this price.
I am 5'9" about 140 lbs and a size medium fits me ok. They are a little big, but will provide enough room for a base layer.
One thing that wasn't clear from the description, is that there are belt loops. There is also a built in nylon belt, but you wouldn't be able to put your knife on it very comfortably. It's one of those strap like belts that you can really only adjust it looser or tighter.
As another reviewer said, the snaps aren't that great. But the legs zip and then snap closed. There is also a velcro strap at the bottom of the legs, so even if a snap or two let go, it's not like the leg is going to open up.
The pockets all have snaps on them to keep them closed while you're walking through the woods. And the material is very quite while walking through brush. I went right through a briar bush without the pants getting caught up.
One last ting is that these are machine washable, but the tag says to drip dry. So don't go washing them the night before a big hunt and think you'll be wearing them the next morning. They will take a good couple of hours in the sun to dry completely through.
I'm very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend them. These pants are currently on sale for $20 off, so grab a pair before the sale is over!

When I bought my 3.1 bibs there was a sticker on them that stated they were good for -10 degrees or something like that. If you read the reviews about how warm these get while walking around-- I would STRONGLY agree. I wore a pair of basketball shorts under the bibs all day in 15 degree weather with about 6 inches of snow on the ground and was sweating like a dog just from the minimal activity I was doing. These are the best cold weather clothes out there!
