Awesome jacket, but still just a jacket. Warm, true to size, quiet. But if you're like me and are a real hoodie guy, don't take the bait. Spend the extra money and get the one with a hood. Hindsight, right?

I really like the looks of this jacket, it is comfortable, quiet and does not pick up prickly seeds in the field like many other fabrics. The negative is that it gets cold across the shoulders and back.

I bought this jacket after purchasing the pants last year. I was so impressed with the warmth of the pants I had to have the jacket. The material is very thin and is unbelievablely warm. I have the BassPro CWS 4 in 1 coat and this jacket is just as warm, but much lighter. The warmth factor gets 5 stars.
The detail of the jacket is where the this jacket lacks. I give the fit and finish 3 stars. The zippered pocket on the left chest is very difficult to zip. I am 6'3'' and 240lbs, I order a XXL, the jacket fits as far as shoulder, chest and length, but a few things could improve. I barely had room in the side pockets for my hands so forget room for gear. The collar of the jacket could be just a bit longer as well to cover more of the neck.
Honestly I can over look these small flaws for the warmth this jacket. The mornings in western NC in late deer season are typically in the 20's. I was perfectly comfortable with UA base layer and a sweat shirt under this jacket. This coat could be perfect with just a little engineering design.

I wouldn't treat it. Don't put it in the dryer either, the RE-tain system will get messed up.A:Â
It's waterproof. I wore it in the rain for an entire day and the only thing that got wet was the bottom of my arms (from the water running down the sleaves).I couldn't wear it the next day, however, because they recommend drip dry only and it didn't dry out after 1 night hanging.

Go with the XL. Fits a little snug. I am also a 44 and it fits great!A:Â
It depends on how you want it to fit. If you are doing early or regular season bow hunting you probably want the smaller size for a less bulky "close to the body" type fit. If you are doing colder weather hunting you would probably take the larger size to accommodate more layers.A:Â
I am 5'7" and weight 170 pounds. I like alittle room in my jackets in case I what to wear I sweater under it. I would suggest you purchase a XL.1 of 1
