I recently bought a Super Guide V16 Tracker Boat. I use the Aquamat to put in my storage areas and rod box to protect my gear and rods in case any water gets in these spaces during a heavy rain. This keeps everything elevated out of any water that might get in these spaces.

I bought 2 sets to use on the bottom of my Jon Boat. They worked well, but feel they are expensive for what you get. Per the instructions, you need to use a hammer to join them

Rated 5 out of 5Â by SoonerSlim Great for Jon Boats
I bought a 1448 Grizzly jon boat to set on the small lake I live on. I had planned to put carpet on the front deck, the middle floor and the back bench. I talked to two different boat carpet installers and was told that if I'm going to leave the boat exposed to the elements setting on the lake, that the carpet would not last over two or three years. I saw the aquamat in the Bass Pro catalog, looked it up online, and read the reviews. After reading the reviews I ordered it and installed it myself in about 2 hours. I can't say yet how well it will hold up, but I'm very happy with how it made the boat quieter, protects my rod and reels, and provides cushion under my feet. It also looks very nice installed on the olive jon boat color.
Installation is very easy. Just fasten the individual tiles as directed and you can easily cut it to fit with a sharp untility knife. I believe it will do much better in the long run that the topline outdoor carpet I was planning to install. Because I installed it myself, the cost was just about the same or possibly slightly cheaper than having the carpet put in.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out. I even called my local Bass Pro Tracker boat team and told them this was ideal for jon boats with flat floors or benches, and that they could install it easily. They asked for pictures and I sent them pictures of the aquamat installed in my boat.

I'm buying a 1448 Grizzly jon boat and I am looking for the best surface to put on the deck, floor, and bench seat that will be quiet, provide comfort, and weather well. I plan to leave this boat exposed to the elements on the little lake that I live on. I'm told carpet will not last. I'd appreciate any advice anyone has about these mats or a better solution.thanks,
