This light works great but the only thing i didnt like was that it was kinda hard to turn on and off because of a small cover in the button to turn it on.

Finally a light with a switch, should stay together without fear of losing the top from loosening it to turn the light off.

I have ordered my second apex bow sight light. My first one worked well until the battery ran out. I didn't have the original packing to see how to change the battery so the light ended up broken in my atempt to figure it out. The second light failed to work at all. The micro switch would not stay engaged. I have since replaced it with a tru-glow light. We'll see how this one works out.

The reviews said it washes out the target in low light. Is there any way to dim it to improve visibility? Thanks

A:Â
Yes. I cut a piece of black electrical tape with a hole punch for paper, then took a small diameter wire (about 1/16 inch) heated it and melted a small hole in the center of the piece tape. It did not quite cover the dome completely, so I used a black permanent marker to color the area the tape did not cover.A:Â
Didn;t have that problem. Try coating it with a light color marker to dim the lightA:Â
dont have a problem with that works well. but no dimming featureA:Â
I don't think there is a way to dim the light because it only has one setting (push button on/off). However when I have shot my bow at night for target practice, I haven't had any problem seeing my target. It's only a matter if you can't actually see what you're shooting at. I've shot at a deer using the sight and could see the doe just fine in dim light through my sight picture, however I missed her due to my error... Hope that helpsA:Â
No way to dim but inside 15 yards it is greatA:Â
not on my bow it dosent i guess you could cover part of it with tare but thers no dimmer1 of 1
