I have been fishing the Georgia coast now for about twenty five years and have been using the Ande leader skeins for about the same time. it is a very handy and easy to use product that allows you to tie the right rig or leader for the conditions your fishing, while not wasting time and line. I usually have several skeins in different line weights in the boat and ready to go.

I personally prefer fluorocarbon leaders but if you are fishing stained water or pursuing fish that are not line conscious this leader material is great.
I use 60lb Ande mono for livebait fishing in stained water. The snook don't seem to mind and this stuff holds up very well even when wrestling fish out from structure and cover.
I even fought a lemon shark for 20 minutes and this line din't break under enormous strain.
It is a lot cheaper than fluoro so if you can get away with it, go for it.

The one I use day in & day out surfcasting for stripers/blues. I mostly fish around rocks/boulders & you need a good leader. It has great resistance to abrasion & holds a knot very well. I use the 50lb & I dont think twice about grabbing it to land the fish. I never leave the house to go surfcasting without this stuff.
