ANDE Back Country is their softest monofilament with exceptional tensile and knot strength. It is designed for smaller light-tackle reels. It maintains very low memory and is formulated for those fishing conditions when you need spot-on casts and that little extra strength to bring your trophy fish to the boat.

Tried this after getting sick of Trilene mono getting memory. It's a little more expensive, but so far, it's been great. Good for full rated test. Knots well too.

I have use different brands of monfillament, flouracarbon, and braided line. I fish mostly inshore saltwater and some fresh water. Over the years with other line I had problems of line breaking while casting, line getting a lot a memory and as far as braided I hated it. I started using Ande about 5 years ago and will never change to anything else. No memory and as far as strength goes it is fantastic. The only time I hate it is when I get hung up and have a very hard time breaking it off LOL.....I landed just this past weekend a fish over 30# with 12# test and landed it with ease (took about 30 mins but I got it in the boat). I highly recommend this product.

No one can say they've tried every fishing line but I can honestly say, I've made a pretty good dent in sampling the market. From Mono to Braid to Fluoro, it's been spooled on my reels over the past 30 years. Each line has an advantage over the other but overall, Ande Back Country cannot be beat when fishing Northeast Florida waters (fresh, brackish or salt). Bream to Bass, Croaker to Sheepshead, Reds to Jacks, I always come back to Ande.

I ordered a few other things and needed some new line for low cost. This had great reviews and was suspiciously cheap, but I bought a small spool of #10. It turned out to be a great decision. It's strong and has just the right amount of memory. It's not fancy and comes in simple packaging (which I prefer), but it works, and it works well. It has low memory, but it doesn't come flying off the bale when you open it. It's cheap enough that you don't need to worry about removing your line if it gets frayed. I haven't used it in a large variety of conditions, but so far it doesn't fray easily. I also really like the rubber band that comes with it.
