Ameristep® Non Typical Rapid Rails give hunters the flexibility to find the perfect spot by providing a secure climb on less than perfect trees. The independent sections do not plug into each other, giving you enough versatility to conform to crooked trees. The adjustable strap-and-hook assembly attaches to the frame for easy installation -- just tighten by hand and step onto the lower rung to set. The side rail tubes rotate toward each other so you can use the Rapid Rails on smaller tree trunks -- a handy feature when used around the stand site to gain access to branches for trimming. Rapid Rails also feature quick-connect speed strap, a V-step for increased footing, and powder coating. Four 4 independent nesting sections (40'', 37'', 34'', 31'') make this set stackable and packable for quick transport. Weight: 14-1/2 lbs. TMA certified. Safety belt not included.
Maximum weight capacity: 300 lbs.

Ameristep® Non Typical Rapid Rail Ladder
They are light, fairly easy to set up, but become very noisy if left for long on the tree. If you are like me and take every precaution to sneak in to your tree without disturbing the deer, it's VERY disapointing to have your steps making loud screaching noises against the tree when you climb. No amount of strap-tightening will stop this, especially in changing temps as the straps expand and contract. As we all know, in a dead-quiet woods the deer (or whatever you are hunting) hear this a mile away. I ended up digging my old stick-ladder out half-way through this season, and will stay with it from now on. EVERY detail matters!

I was surprised at how solid and sturdy these are for their light weight. They mount easy and stay put. And they do not have to be mounted on top of each other. Also easy to take down, easy to store and easy to carry. Great product.

good buy for the money
Works great, nice an light to carry and easy to set up! Only thing I didn't like is how close the steps are to each other on each section. I know it's probably for safety so it wouldn't be anything to keep me from buying another set.

I started using Rapid Rails shortly after they came out. I have since bought a set for each of my lock-ons, and never buy a new lock-on without buying another set of Rapid Rails. Super light weight, very easy to use, and will allow you to set up in trees that are far from straight. Climbing is easly and foot placement is great. Textured, non-slip coating adds to the quality of this product. I highly recommend Ameristep Rapid Rails!!!
