Ameristep Non Typical Rapid Rail Ladder
They are light, fairly easy to set up, but become very noisy if left for long on the tree. If you are like me and take every precaution to sneak in to your tree without disturbing the deer, it's VERY disapointing to have your steps making loud screaching noises against the tree when you climb. No amount of strap-tightening will stop this, especially in changing temps as the straps expand and contract. As we all know, in a dead-quiet woods the deer (or whatever you are hunting) hear this a mile away. I ended up digging my old stick-ladder out half-way through this season, and will stay with it from now on. EVERY detail matters!

This ladder system is fantastic!!
It works great on almost any tree, diameter being the only restriction I have come across. It is light-wieght and easy to set-up. It allows climbing into treestand heights of up to 20ft.
It GRABS hold of the tree and supplies a firm and steady climb once set into place, no matter what the shape of the tree. Because of the four seperate sections it can even be staggered around the tree.
I would recommend this product to anyone with any treestand in need of a ladder!

I'll gladly sell u mine lol
I've tried many different climbing systems and they all have tradeoffs as we all know.
These were not nearly as quiet as I thought they'd be. They stack together nicely and are pretty lightweight, but are difficult to nest together quietly.
They are also difficult to hang because of the distance between the tree and yourself. You fight with them quite abit trying to set them correctly.
Climbing them does not feel natural either. Its leg over leg and the rungs are narrow for a heavier hunting boot. I do think there are better choices out there for the same amount of money. Good Luck and shoot straight and make sure to wear a safety harness.

Easy set up, light, very secure
I purchased the "Lee and Tiff" combo that came with a set of these ultra light weight climbing steps. After my wife and I set this stand up I was sold on using these steps and have since purchased three sets to replace the other climbing sticks and screw in steps for my other hang-on treestands. These things are a snap to put up, very secure even on wet or loose bark, and they make the decision of picking between the right tree and the one that will have to do obsolete. I like to go a little higher than most so I purchased the extension section but 4 is plenty enough for any stand. They pack up nice and neat and just an overall great product.
