I have used pop-up blinds for over a decade, including the Ameristep blinds.. This one was by far the worst piece of junk ever! A rod broke on the very first open attempt after the so- called hub got kinked ,breaking loose the rod end from within hub bracket. About never got it closed after that because a second rod broke and ripped thru the blind fabric. I'm sending it back, don't even want my money back, that's how mad I am!

This is my first ground blind. The first day my son and I used it a storm came through. We got alot of rain and pea sized hail. This blind stood up to it and we stayed dry. I do wish the screens used magnets instead of velcro though. over all very pleased with this blind and would recomend

the blind lasted for one season. it was a little tricky to setup and it was a two man job. the pocket that the rods went into didnt last long. they had a big hole in them after one season. the velcro on the mesh was very noisy. wasnt worth the money. thats why i gave it a 3 star.

I bought this as an anniversary present. He was thrilled. He can fit 2 other decently sized guys in it. No complaints so far. The carry bag was a big bonus. Bone Collector is great.

How do you get rid of the oder this thing has? I have tried everything, letting it air out, sprayed with scentaway a few times and it still has a really strong smellDetails:
is the material this is made out of sturdy enough to be able to brush it in with out tearing holes in it?Answers
A:
The material is excellent quality. It's thick and very sturdy and durable. I've sat through heavy down pours and never got a drop on me. And still enjoyed the view. And yes you can brush it without tearing any holes in it.This is by no means a cheap blind. As in quality.A:
It will tear, no doubt.Details:
Wouldnt the white on the blind for the bone collector emblem scare the deer?Answers
A:
No, cause it's just a small patch. Deer would see it like a patch of fungus growing on a tree. Which they see everyday..If the white was huge. Then it would be different. I have the Bone Collector and mine is Blaze Orange. Makes no difference.Answers
A:
No it has no floor.A:
the blind does not have a floor in it the material is quiet but the velcro on it is noisyA:
No floor sorryAnswers
A:
Oh it's very weather proof. I've sat through heavy down pours and never got a drop on me. Makes great shelter from all the elements.A:
i used this blind in heavy wind and rain and didnt have any issuesA:
If its brand new maybe 1-1-1/2 seasons tops. I purchased a Primos 360, the same time of Bone collector. The Primos is out lasting them both of them. I would trust the Primos brand over it to keep you dry and semi warm.
A:
Like most higher quality ground blinds, it is weather resistant, but not waterproof. They are built to shed water, but water will eventually start seeping a bit if you are caught in a downpour or daylong shower. And or course water can find its way through the zippers, window edges, and blow through open windows.Answers
A:
the windows are like buttons and the screen is velcro.A:
screens are velcro windows have elastic loops that have plastic t shape pieces that are on the blind which go through the elastic.A:
The windows are fasten using a oblong button which has elastic attached to it. The Mesh is attached with Velcro. Overall there is no versatility in the windows.. Making this blind useless to me.A:
Shoot through windows are fastened with velcro, (not so cool for me) the regular cover windows over the shoot through windows use an exremely quiet button fastener(very awesome)1 of 1
