Rated 3 out of 5 by Just Okay I have used a half a dozen various designs of tree stands and I'm not happy with any of them including this one. This one is just okay. I do like that it's very quiet getting into and when folding the seat up even when left out year around. I specifically looked for a stand when I bought this with arm rests which was a BAD idea. I primarily bow hunt so I need range of motion. You can unbolt the arm rests but because it's made like a lawn chair it is far from ideal. This is where flat swivel seats are best. My advice is to make your own tree stand. Sorry, I know you don't want to read this but think about it. A tree stand that has a swivel seat like on a bass boat (small and slim not big and bulky) that's NOT right up against the tree. BIG bucks never go where you predict. A seat with a back rest with a large floor base so you can rotate your body 360 degrees just with minimum movement of your toes. I hope this review is helpful without sounding like a rant. I have missed out on two massive bucks because of this. Good luck! May 6, 2013
