If you use clean corn in your feeder it will work every time.If you use dirty corn with cobes in it it will not spin.

This is a replacement for the one I had in place ovelr three years that failed because of me.... not the feeder's fault. A great item that provides excellent service for the money!

i use two of these timers. people on other reviews say that corn gets stuck in the spinner. fact is , if you use a solar charger (like i do) or full batteries it slings corn like nothing else. also a little ingenuity would keep critters from tearing them up. i mean you are putting these feeders in the woods adapt to the situation. i love american hunter feeders and timers, great deals and good products. if you are just a little smart with how you use them and take care of your stuff you to will be satisfied. these timers really are great to use , just take care of your stuff!
